Former Obama aide: Trump is a 'psychopath'

Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press", while discussing the immigration policy of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said' a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants was "off the table". "He hasn't mentioned that since last November", she said.

Trump attempted to clarify his views on how to overhaul the USA immigration system after stating before that he was softening on his plan to deport all 11 million illegal immigrants.

Pence, repeatedly asked whether a Trump administration would still deploy a "deportation force", demurred but said Trump was only describing "a mechanism, not a policy" with the use of that term.

Speaking on the Iowa State Fairgrounds with hay bales stacked behind him, Mr Trump sought to clarify his views on how to overhaul the U.S. immigration system after saying earlier in the week that he was softening on his plan to deport all 11 million illegal immigrants.

The question has taken on increased relevance in recent days, as Trump has appeared to soften the hard-line position he adopted during the Republican primary campaign as he looks to boost his appeal among moderate voters in the general election.

Colombia, leftist rebels putting final touches on peace deal
His party, Colombia's main opposition group, announced earlier this month it would back a "no" vote in the plebiscite. Most of the abuses have allegedly been committed by right-wing paramilitary militias.

Trump is looking more closely at the question of what to do about millions of illegal immigrants living in the country.

"He's going to build and complete the border wall that was set in place in 2006 by Congress". Trump wouldn't say later in the week, in an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper. "Or, we can go with someone who is committed to educational choice for minority families and families all across this country; for a commitment to law and order and standing with and standing by our law enforcement community; committed to bringing jobs and opportunity and hope to every American, regardless of race and creed and color".

"You're not going to have a pathway to citizenship with Donald Trump", Priebus added.

Todd pushed back, asking Plouffe if it's fair to diagnose people on television and saying: "I assume you don't have a degree in psychology". I think Kellyanne's doing a phenomenal job. "I mean, you're going to hear more detail in next two weeks that lays out all the policies", Pence said.

However, controversy has already started to swirl around Bannon, who has been under recent scrutiny for a domestic violence charge in the '90s and whose ex-wife has accused him of making anti-Semitic remarks. "Here's what I know: [Trump's] position is going to be tough. I tend to judge people based on what I see and what I interact with".
