Vishal Dadlani, Congress leader booked over Jain monk remarks

After Vishal Dadlani apologised for his controversial tweet on Tarun Sagar's address to the Haryana Assembly, the Digambar Jain monk on Monday said he was not angry with the music director.

The said complaint was filed at Shahdara police station in Delhi by the Jain community and followed by the same, Vishal Dadlani also received a lot of backlash from Twitter.

Poonawala is a Congress activist who had also tweeted on the Jain monk.

The case against Dadlani was registered on a complaint filed by one Puneet Arora.

After a barrage of criticism, Dadlani had tendered an apology for his tweet and also deleted it.

Kejriwal disapproved Dadlani's remark saying that Tarun Sagarji Maharaj is a very revered saint, not just for Jains but everyone and those showing disrespect is unfortunate and should stop, while Delhi PWD Minister Satyendar Jain sought kshama from him on behalf of his music composer friend.

PYD retreats from positions west of Euphrates, US says
It is located 20 miles (33 kilometres) from the town of Manbij , liberated from Daesh by Kurdish-led forces earlier this month. We agreed with the United States a week ago that the Kurds would retreat to the eastern bank of the Euphrates in two weeks.

A day later, Dadlani - the most vocal backer of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Bollywood - called Tarun Sagar's speech as "monkery". "I seek kshama from Muni Tarun Sagar ji Maharaj".

Dadlani had initially differed over the transformation of the anti-corruption movement into a political party, but soon came on board.

"Munishri Maharaj has stressed on the significance of dharma over Politics in socio-political aspects and all should keep that in mind". This time she faced the wrath of a cross section of Twitter users, including some Jain believers who were upset with her tweet. His address was ridiculed by a number of people on social media, including musician Vishal Dadlani, known for political affiliation with AAP. Dadlani's tweet about the leader stirred a controversy on Saturday, following which he announced his decision to quit politics and all affiliated work. But the people of the society who respects me get hurt and they protest.

East Delhi police, meanwhile, is taking legal opinion for further action on a complaint against Dadlani for his tweet.

A monk gave a speech at a local assembly in India, during which he was completely naked. I apologise again, to the Jain Community, & all others offended.
