Early Voting in Stoneham for November 8 Election

Leading up to Election Day, the County City Building will be open Monday to Friday from 8 to 4:30, Saturday from 8 to 4 and Sundays from 12 to 4. Go here for more information and a list of early voting sites.

Despite recent accusations of a rigged election by Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump during the past few weeks, Latham said she's very confident in the integrity of the voting process in Stephens County.

"I didn't know, but now I know", Russell Dariso said. "They are doing it now and I like it", he said. In some places, early voting will occur only at the town or city hall during daytime hours while other communities, such as Lynn, have designated certain days for extended hours.

Early voting has risen in popularity across the nation over the past two decades, but states still tend to administer elections in step with their regional peers.

Harris County officials said they expect about 750,000 people to participate in early voting.

" There is heavy foot traffic in those locations and we picked locations in the outlying wards of the city where people might have difficulty coming down to City Hall".

"We are obviously 4,000-5,000 votes behind what we were four years ago, but the percentage, and apples to oranges type comparison, what we are looking at now is pretty good", said County Board of Elections Director Michael Dickerson. "If Pennsylvania is going to implement early voting, groups are going to have to get behind it in a pretty significant way".

The voting numbers are expected to surge even higher next when early voting starts Monday in 50 out of 67 counties.

For first lady, Trump is he who shall remain nameless
It's why other Republicans are so extremely frustrated by his tone-deaf insults to women over their weight of physical appearance. Obama then turned her attention to Trump's remarks this week that he would only accept the results of the election if he won.

"I'm surely optimistic that we are going to make that number again", he said.

Kevin Gordon, 52, drove from Bethel with his son, an 18-year-old first-time voter, to cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton.

Voters could cast their ballots early at 22 voting sites in 2012.

Dianis spoke at a briefing with leading voting rights activists from a half-dozen swing states where each described differing obstacles and barriers to voting. However, it's unclear what their status will be on November 8, said Donita Judge, Advancement Project attorney, because the state has not yet said how it will proceed.

Early voting is not for everybody.

"We are doing a little bit better than I thought, we had over 100 people within the first hour and a half this morning", Flynn said.

The Vote Early Howard County committee is comprised of two Republicans, Craig Dunn and Paul Wyman, and two Democrats, Kathy Skiles and David Tharp. There is not a lot of early voting in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut or Virginia.
