How the Trump and Clinton tax plans would affect Americans

Pence is governor of IN who served IN Congress for a decade.

THE FACTS: The early 1990s might have been more painful for Trump, but for the vast majority of Americans, the Great Recession, which began in 2007, was much worse. That's why both Clinton and Trump are spending so much time here. "It would have been insane for him not to take advantage of it", he said.

Hillary Clinton appears to be pulling away in Pennsylvania. And the candidate himself relishes filing lawsuits for perceived slights.

The taxes controversy is the latest media storm to plague Mr Trump during the marathon election campaign.

The losses stem from "a dizzying array of deduction, business expenses, real estate depreciation, losses from the sale of business assets and event operating lawsuits" that flow from various entities control by Trump to his "personal tax returns".

Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani agreed with Trump's statement and called him a genius after the tax records were released. That's before the time period that he says is being audited.

More than 900,000 people donated to "Hillary for America" in September, the campaign said.

Clinton noted that Trump "started his business with a $14 million dollar loan from his father" and said his dad has "bailed him out".

"He doesn't care about those small businesses he didn't pay".

A few days ago in Iowa, he made fun of her for the fall, saying Clinton takes "all those days off" and then "she can't even make it to her car".

Mega-Hurricane Matthew threatens Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba
Forecasters say Matthew is expected to turn toward the west-northwest by Saturday night and then toward the northwest on Sunday. Parts of Haiti, Cuba and Jamaica are on alert, as Matthew's maximum sustained winds were near 145 miles per hour Saturday.

The Republican presidential contender has long accused his Democratic opponent of corruption.

In 2012, President Barack Obama, running for re-election, and Republican nominee Mitt Romney each raised more than $1 billion, making it the most expensive presidential race on record.

Clinton was to campaign in OH on Monday.

He said Clinton's handling of classified emails on the server makes her "totally unfit" for the Oval Office.

James detailed his support for Clinton in an op-ed in Business Insider and the Akron Beacon Journal. "Because he came back, and he came all the way back". But the records obtained by the Times show losses so large that they could have allowed Trump to avoid paying taxes for up to 18 years.

Bob McIntyre of the liberal Citizens for Tax Justice argued that the tax code needs to remain complicated because people like Trump keep trying to find ways to avoid the simple requirement to pay their fair share.

"Donald Trump is an extraordinarily successful private businessman who followed the law and created tens of thousands of jobs for Americans", the statement read. "If you're proud of that, that's great, but I don't think you should be".

He added that had there been a different Republican nominee, Wednesday morning's paper may have had a different headline. The show insiders told The Associated Press that Trump rated female contestants by the size of their breasts and talked about which ones he'd like to have sex with. There is no evidence that the Clinton's misused the money.

But if it turns out he owed nothing in federal income taxes, he wouldn't be alone. Trump has repeatedly said he will not disclose them until an audit of them is completed.

Clinton says there needs to be a law that requires the nominee of the two major parties to release their tax returns.
