Trump defiant as Clinton rides high in the polls

Sixty percent of people polled believe that Clinton won the debate, 18 percent believe Trump won and 18 percent believe neither candidate can out on top. The results fell along partisan lines, however: 82 percent of Democrats felt Clinton won, while 68 per cent of Republicans felt that Trump won.

The poll was taken on Saturday and Sunday, before the two clashed during Sunday night's debate in the US.

Donald Trump, on the heels of the town hall-style debate in St. Louis, continued stumping Monday in Ambridge, Pa., threatening more attacks on Bill and Hillary Clinton's indiscretions if there are more tapes released attacking Trump's own character. Clinton left Trump in the dust, earning 46 percent of voters' support to his 35 percent in a four-way race with Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party nominee Jill Stein.

Hillary Clinton widened her lead to seven points over Donald Trump in Wisconsin, according to the latest Marquette Law School Poll.

Clinton also holds a 5-point-lead over Trump in the head-to-head poll among likely voters.

In fact, she quoted Pence verbatim from the October 4 vice presidential candidates' debate, where he made the claim. Nor is it enough to dismiss Trump's revival of the accusations against Bill Clinton as a political stunt.

LEADING OFF: Cubs, Indians go for sweeps; Dodgers vs a lefty
But Wood pitched well too. "Never", All-Star third-baseman Kris Bryant confirmed. "It was Travis today, [Javier] Baez [Friday]". A lead-off double by Dexter Fowler and a two-out single by Ben Zobrist gave the north sides a quick one run lead.

But while Trump went on all out-assault on his opponent, his campaign reeled again from new accusations that the celebrity businessman touched women inappropriately.

The first debate reached a total of 84 million viewers, more than for any other presidential debate on record, the Nielsen company said on Monday.

The debate saw Donald Trump forced to defend himself against claims of sexism after footage emerged of him allegedly advocating groping women.

At various points throughout the very tense, combative meeting, voters seated on the stage were given the chance to ask the two candidates questions directly.

"There is nothing Clinton can say to get away from the emails, there is nothing Trump can do to get away from the tape", said Blessing.

But while they breathe sighs of relief that Mr. Trump didn't literally melt into a puddle on the stage, Republicans might want to actually listen to what their nominee said. An online Politico/Morning Consult tracking poll showed far less change, with Trump's numbers dropping by just 1 point after the video release. Trump and Clinton don't just dislike each other - they actually seem to hate each other. Overall, voters view Clinton more negatively than positively by 10 points.
