Trump Went After the Press (Again) During His Florida Rally

Saturday's rally at the Orlando-Melbourne Airport was Trump's first foray into the widely public eye since he took the oath of office just a month ago.

Wurzelbacher backed GOP Arizona senator John McCain's presidential bid, but rocketed to fame after having a confrontation with then-Democratic contender Barack Obama. The president called the judges' ruling "very sad" and read part of a statute giving authority to the president authority in matters of immigration and national security.

Holding a rally less than a month after inauguration is not unheard of for American presidents.

On social media, many were bothered to see Trump already focused on his re-election rather than the issues now at hand in Washington. The rallies serve a practical goal by enabling his campaign to continue building a list of supporters.

Vann registered online for two passes to attend, but she's not going in.

As the crowd chanted and cheered, Trump was right back where he belonged, where he pledged to keep doing what his adoring voters put him in the White House to do.

House Freedom Caucus call for quick Obamacare repeal vote could stall progress
Still, Ryan insisted Wednesday that the House is "on schedule" for a repeal and replacement vote this spring. The repeal of the Affordable Care Act has many Americans scared, but no one has more at stake than women.

Michael Caputo, a former senior adviser to Trump's campaign, said he expects this sort of campaign-style event will be the "first of many". This rally is being held in Florida, a state Trump will be as he heads to his Mar-a-Lago resort for the third straight weekend.

Before the rally, which is in the city of Melbourne, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said the US President would 'speak directly to people across this country in an unfiltered way, in a way that doesn't have any bias'. It follows an official trip Friday to SC, where Trump will visit a Boeing facility in North Charleston. Expenses for the trip will be covered by President Trump's campaign, not taxpayers.

As in his campaign speeches, Trump bemoaned the state of domestic and foreign affairs claiming, "I and we inherited one big mess" and "we don't win in any capacity". The person requested anonymity to discuss private conversations. When that happens, the campaign picks up the tab for part of the trip and taxpayers for the rest.

This, for what it's worth, is exactly why Trump still wants to do these rallies even though he already won the election and has been sworn in as president.

Trump began the rally by continuing his attacks on the media, telling the crowd he wanted to speak "without the filter of the fake news". "You want to make it easy for companies to do business in America and harder for companies to leave", he stated.

"Do you think that one media group back there, that one network, will show this crowd".
