Fred Hoiberg has an issue with Isaiah Thomas's dribbling

Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas said his mind is not fully focused on basketball as he grieves the loss of his sister, and he's feeding off the support of his teammates during Boston's first-round series against the Bulls.

The Celtics began the game with a 14-4 run and finished the first period leading 30-18.

While the Celtics won for the second straight time, the Bulls - despite Butler's effort, which included nine assists - continued to struggle offensively without injured point guard Rajon Rondo.

Speaking for the first time since his sister, Chyna, died on April 15 in a single-vehicle auto crash, the Boston Celtics star said he is thankful for the support of his teammates. They averaged 108.5 points per game in games 1 and 2.

At the heart of that is Boston All-Star Isaiah Thomas, who had 33 points on Sunday.

It was Avery Bradley, among others, who went over to console Thomas at the time.

"I don't think I've been called for it one time this year, so I don't think that would change".

Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg, however, took exception to Thomas' offensive style and claimed that Thomas regularly gets away with carrying the basketball.

Ann Coulter's backers at UC Berkeley file lawsuit
Young America's Foundation, BridgeCal and Berkeley College Republicans had invited Coulter to campus to speak on April 27. The senator's comments came after UC-Berkeley cancelled Coulter's appearance last week, citing security concerns.

Game 5 of the series will be in Boston on Wednesday on TNT.

The Bulls actually took the lead in the 3rd quarter shortly after this.

"I mean, that's not the reason why I'm an impossible cover, but it is what it is", he said as his sons, seated to his right broke into laughter.

But Thomas quickly erased the Bulls' only lead at 65-63 by scoring 10 in a 12-0 run and assisting Al Horford on the other hoop. Crowder jawed at the Bulls' bench after hitting a jumper and Rondo extended his leg as Crowder walked by him. Jimmy Butler was hearing "M-V-P" chants from the crowd of almost 22,000 and the Celtics looked lost, just as they had at times in Game 1 and 2 losses. While Rondo said last Friday that doctors told him he'd be out a "couple weeks", Rondo considers himself a fast healer, and he's also proved in the past to have a high threshold for pain tolerance. "I'm looking forward to that next game and getting that rhythm back".

Rondo was the main catalyst for the Bulls' two road wins to start the series. It was about the Boston Celtics establishing that Game 3's win wasn't a fluke.

With Rondo, the Bulls' offense in this series has been fast and free-flowing. Once again, he poured in 33 points, but a lot of those came immediately after the Bulls raged back into the game. We've just got to play for one another and play for the moment at hand, which is the playoffs, and have fun with it. We got two days to prepare.

"[The Celtics have] been really important", said Thomas. "I nearly felt like he was in the locker room with me again", said Avery Bradley, the only player on Boston's roster who played alongside Garnett.
