ABC is off and running with NBA Finals

With unmatched firepower, the Warriors are pushing the pace and the Cavaliers to exhaustion.

Warriors forward Kevin Durant, who left Oklahoma City for Golden State last July in hopes of winning his first National Basketball Association crown, had LeBron-like numbers-3 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, five blocked shots and three steals-in a 132-113 romp Sunday in game two.

It's not easy to discern which of these four factors is most significant, even if Cavaliers superstar LeBron James believes he has the answer: "KD".

The Warriors, on the other hand, have gotten key contributions from their four All-Stars: Curry, Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, as well as from players like Livingston, Andre Iguodala and Zaza Pachulia at times to set an National Basketball Association record with 14 straight postseason wins.

All James wanted to think about was getting some food and wine on the flight home. "They have the unique opportunity to make us that much better".

Durant, seeking his first NBA crown after leaving Oklahoma City last July to join Golden State, became only the third player in NBA history to score at least 25 points in his first seven NBA Finals appearances, joining Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal. "Keep making them beat us". When we get stops, we want to get out and run. They had a 3-1 lead over Cleveland in last year's Finals before the Cavs stormed back to win it in seven games. I think (Sunday) I was just in a good rhythm.

How do the Cavs stem the tide?

A year after winning 73 games to set the NBA's regular-season record, the Warriors can make more history if they sweep the Cavs to complete the league's first undefeated postseason.

Blown out in Games 1 and 2 by the Golden State Warriors, looking for something to change in the first home game before the series is over for all intents and purposes.

"The example I would probably give you would be like Miami with (Dwyane) Wade and LeBron", Kerr said.

The Cavaliers might like to believe they're an uptempo team, but a brief check of the season's statistics tell a different story. "So just the way he played on the defensive end, the way he played on the offensive end, he's been doing it all playoffs long, but in these Finals, he's really picked it up, and it's been huge for us".

"[This] was a game based on talent, we had a lot of guys who played exceptionally well individually and we played with great energy". "But we're hoping it's going to be a different story when we go home". They're the first National Basketball Association team to ever do it. "We need to take that mentality to Cleveland". "And we're going to need to play better to win on the road". "This is the same thing that happened past year", the source pointed out.

The first two games, both won by the Golden State Warriors, averaged 19.2 million viewers, the Nielsen company said.

"To be clear, I don't know who was imbibing marijuana in the Cavs locker room - media that entered, player, etc. They have a number of playmakers on that team, and their coaching staff has done a good job of putting those guys in positions". Now we have to go back there.

"So to slow up the pace would be changing who we are".

So are the Cavaliers, but it's more hard for them because they must come up with answers that so far have eluded them.

Game 2: 18 shots in 39 minutes.

"We know it's a tall challenge for us, but it's a great moment to be a part of, so we look forward to what (Wednesday) brings", James said after Tuesday's practice.
