LG G6 with QHD+ screen, Snapdragon 821 SoC announced at MWC

Although, there is still a day to go for the MWC to officially begin, we have already seen the launch of Blackberry KEYOne smartphone and now the LG G6.

The LG G6 comes with a dual camera setup, with 13MP sensors.

LG has made a decision to drop their concept of modular design and take the G6 down a simpler road.

The LG G6 features a large 5.7-inch sized "FullVision" display with narrow bezels on all sides, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of around 78%. Before we forget, we have a quadHD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) resolution and pixel density of 564ppi. LG has joined the club to a degree this year with the LG G6 launch.

On paper this device is a serious competitor to the Google Pixel it has an excellent a display screen which has been tightly packed into a small body like the V20. Going inside to the schematics of the board that powers the device, there is a SnapDragon 821 CPU chipset, 4GB of RAM.

The LG G6 releases into the markets with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. The consolation here is both versions do have microSD card slots. The battery was the only thing LG G5 was unanimously praised for that it offers a removable battery.

The useful two camera set-up (with one being a wide-angle lens) is back, and unlike last year's G5 there is no disgusting camera bump. Shows like Chef's Table and Marvel's Jessica Jones are streaming now in HDR and the LG G6 can experience them in all their glory. Other apps like Calendar and Email have also been redesigned to make use of the new format in landscape mode by dividing the screen in half. The company now exhibited some of the uses of the new display, that consists of two flawless squares placed on top of each other. On the front is a 5MP selfie snapper with a 100-degree FOV lens. That said, the front-facing camera packs in wide angle capabilities, which means more people can be covered in group shots. The expansive screen enables users to take and review photos simultaneously. The camera app, for example, divides the screen into two ideal squares. Overall it looks like a solid upgrade from the LG G5, abandoning the modular feature that didn't really seem to gain much traction and instead focusing on usability.

As these protests take place all over the country on Monday, they act as reminders that Trump is only one person. She said politics is discussed more in her classrooms, but not too much "because it can lead to arguments".

There's also a 3,300mAh battery present and you get a much more improved 32-bit Quad DAC chip inside.

Software: Android Nougat customised with LG's own user interface called UX 6.0. However, some LG G5 models in the US are now benefiting from the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The edges are chamfered and the corners are rounded and this time the phone is water and dust resistant which is new. That means that the G6 can handle being under one meter of water for 30 minutes without worry. G6 rolled-out in the markets of United States of America will have wireless charging feature present.

So, when can you actually buy this phone?

To start with, the device comes with a combination of metal and glass.

The LG G6 will be available in platimun, white and black.

The LG G6 will be available this year with a United Kingdom release expected in April; we expect it to retail at roughly the same price as the G5 (£529).
