'The Walking Dead's' war finally reawakens its fiercest warriors

Season 7 episode 13 of The Walking Dead is titled Bury Me Here and it will see Carol wondering about the safety of Alexandrians and trying to find out the truth from Morgan. We even see a few scenes from that episode in a madness-montage as Morgan returns to the shopping cart blockade to shout, scream, and maybe even contemplate suicide. And that's when we get Carol back. And Morgan's shifty eyes didn't reassure her one bit.

Richard gets what he wanted in the end, and Morgan strangles him to death in front of Ezekiel and the Saviors when they go to drop off the next day. And she certainly doesn't need a kid like Benji tagging along.

The scenes with Gavin were also really good. In the meantime, find out if you followed the " Episode 12 of season 7 of The Walking Dead on melty. Richard, the Poor Man's Gerard Butler (his official Kingdom title), stares at a backpack marked "Katy" and angrily digs a hole.

On the way to the meet, we finally learn what that teaser photo of the cantaloupes was all about during the mid-season hiatus. Well, Richard created a diversion on the road heading toward the exchange, using it as an elaborate ruse to hide one of the melons.

Either way, Richard will never live to see the Saviors thwarted; in an odd way, his plan to inspire a rebellion works out just fine after all. The encounters between the Saviors and the Kingdom-dwellers are the stuff of great TV drama - the kind that fans can't look away from, even if they have a sick feeling in the pits of their stomachs throughout.

Oh, and look who's there as well. "Right now is what matters", Gavin says, and wants to deal with all of this right now.

WWE Raw: Fastlane fallout, plus look at Seth Rollins' rehabilitation
According to PWInsider , the Undertaker will return to WWE television in the upcoming week to set up his WrestleMania plans. But she again did it with the help of Sasha Banks, while Dana Brooke was not at ringside as Charlotte originally planned.

"I wanted to show you that we get it", Morgan claimed, as he revealed the shocking depths of Richard's deceit.

The bullet was intended as a warning, not a punishment; Jared only shot Benjamin in the leg. It's a weird one: sad music plays as the Kingdomers load precisely one melon into a box before Zeke gives a solemn order to close the truck doors. Later that day, the offering to the Saviors goes very badly awry when the Kingdom is one melon short - a mistake that ends up costing young Ben his life, in Carol's house no less. The same goes for Richard warning Morgan that he'd eventually need to kill someone again; nearly daring him to do it on the spot.

All of those groups should be able to mount a full-scale attack on Negan and his people, especially if they're able to somehow maintain the element of surprise. And you can see things click in Morgan's head. Richard wants to keep the plan going to eventually incite a war, though he mentions he will confess what he did.

After losing his son Duane (and before meeting Eastman), Morgan turned into a psychotic, indiscriminate killer. It's actually a pretty reasonable explanation. Thankfully, Morgan retains enough presence to calm the Saviors down and do what needs to be done.

When Richard is dead, Morgan explains that Richard set everything up, from the roadblock to hiding the melon. This week, it's taking down a street through of walkers with a One Way sign - next week, it's the world. After quietly sliding his knife into Richard's skull, Morgan heads to Carol's alone, where he calmly ticks off a checklist of horrors: how he killed Richard with his own hands, how Negan killed Glenn and the Sarge and Spencer and Olivia.

The episode closes on Morgan, sharpening his staff into a spear. What would Eastman think of that, Morgan? Bringing Morgan back and making him such a compelling character is one of the best things the show has done. However, it's the compelling turn that Morgan has needed for the last season or so.
