Easy choice: Browns CB Haden wants Garrett with No. 1 pick

Brown, who has the most leverage in the draft, telling the world a team called about the No. 1 pick to take a quarterback could be created to get a team to increase its trade offer and/or push another prospect down the board.

In what should be no shocker to anyone reading this mock draft, the Cleveland Browns will select Myles Garrett from Texas A&M with the first overall pick on Thursday.

Brown also said that the team was looking "forward to having Brock come in and compete", and followed up on that statement at Wednesday's pre-draft news conference. "He is a positive young man who has some ability and talent", Brown said, via Cleveland's team website.

That means the Browns would have to deal the 12th pick and another later pick - they have eight total first- and second-round picks in 2017 and 2018 - to leapfrog several teams to get Trubisky. But according to Cleveland.com, New England was likely to ask for the 2017 and 2017 first overall picks of the Browns in exchange for the 25-year-ol d backup. It is without a doubt Garrett is the top prospect in the draft; there really is no other choice as to who to take first.

Whether the Browns consider Trubisky, Deshaun Watson, or Patrick Mahomes worthy of reversing roles with the Jets from the Mark Sanchez trade remains to be seen. "And he also may, in fact, be the Browns' top quarterback". Considering that head coach Hue Jackson has been repeatedly talking up Myles Garrett, the fact that Brown did so as well could be evidence of that. I fully expect quite a few trades as their chess match unfolds, but here is my six round (they don't have a seventh), Browns draft to give you a little insight on what they might do.

Trubisky made just 13 starts at the college level and is going to need time to develop.

Canada Introduces Legislation to Legalize Marijuana
The House amendment passed Thursday effectively removes club regulations, and the remaining bits of the bill are relatively minor. In 2015, use among youth aged 15 to 19 was 21 per cent, while use among young adults aged 20 to 24 was 30 per cent.

Texas A&M has had 34 first round draft picks in the history of the university.

"That would surprise me if we trade down in that fashion", Brown said.

We won't know how serious Brown is about teams trying to move all the way up to No. 1 for a quarterback until draft day April 27. We haven't resigned ourselves one way or the other.

Will it be former University of North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky, who passed for 3,748 yards and 30 touchdowns en route to the Tar Heels' appearance versus Stanford University in last year's Sun Bowl?

"If it was my draft, then he would be", Haden said with a smile.

One has to believe he'd be better off heading to a team that is comfortable letting an established veteran play the 2017 season, rather than being thrown to the wolves right out of the gate. That leaves the Browns wondering if Trubisky will be available when they pick again at No. 12.
