It's on: EPL title race heats up as Chelsea loses at United

Manchester United's Ashley Young insisted he still had "fire in my belly" after getting back into the first team at Old Trafford.

United had conceded five goals and failed to score in its two losses to Chelsea this season - one in the league (4-0) and one in the F.A. Cup (1-0) - but Mourinho got his own back against his former club this time.

This time he was United s match-winner, setting up Marcus Rashford s seventh-minute opener and netting with a deflected shot early in the second half.

United were ahead on seven minutes after Herrera had split the Chelsea defence with a flawless pass to Rashford, who swept home past Asmir Begovic.

Mourinho contended United had played better in a 1-1 home draw with Arsenal and 1-0 win over Tottenham.

Manchester United won against Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend. We gave them double problems, problems when we had the ball and problems when we recovered the ball because we were really sharp and fast and aggressive in our transitions.

"It is important to find the right solution, but the decision of the referee [Bobby Madley] wasn't good for us".

"I have always said that I want to play as much as possible. Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo deserve a special mention because they play absolutely every game non-stop since the injuries of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones". But it is a great feeling to know it is hard for us to lose a match.

"I'm looking to play as many games as I can between now and the end of the season".

The Red Devils were in superb form as they outplayed the Blues at Old Trafford and secured the three points to keep their top-four hopes alive.

Chelsea must now put their title challenge on hold as they face Spurs in the the FA Cup semi-final on Saturday with Conte admitting that the Lilywhites - who are on a run of seven straight league wins - are the the best team in the division. But it's a great feeling to know that it's hard for us to lose a match, people fight until the end. "For a young referee to come up I think is a joy, because we all know that the top referees in the Premier League are normally men with great experience and Madley had for me a very, very good performance".
