Pochettino focuses on title, not Arsenal

Arsenal have never ended below Tottenham in Wenger's 21 years at the club although the gap has been narrowing, and last season they only leapfrogged Spurs into second spot on the final day of the season.

Arsenal have finished above Spurs every season since 1994-95 and their fans have taken to calling the day when they can no longer be overtaken by their local foes "St Totteringham's Day".

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that he is exclusively focused on winning the Premier League title rather than finishing above North London rivals Arsenal.

The England U21 global, who moved to the Emirates Stadium from Bolton last summer for £2m, has impressed as part of Arsenal's new-look three-man defence and Wenger has tipped the 21-year-old for a bright future.

Arsenal were pushed all the way by the Foxes before Robert Huth's late own-goal sealed the three points which keep alive their slim hopes of a top-four finish.

"It's hard for me as an Arsenal man at the minute", Arsenal's record goalscorer told Sky Sports.

"In that moment I will start thinking of all the good things that happened this season and be realistic, to assess and analyse the season".

It's on: EPL title race heats up as Chelsea loses at United
Manchester United's Ashley Young insisted he still had "fire in my belly" after getting back into the first team at Old Trafford. Mourinho contended United had played better in a 1-1 home draw with Arsenal and 1-0 win over Tottenham.

He also insisted that Arsenal will still remain the bigger club even if they are not able to achieve the target.

The Gunners make the short trip to White Hart Lane for what could be the last time on Sunday having reached the FA Cup final following victory over Manchester City last weekend.

Wembley, by contrast, has not been a happy home for Spurs, who one once in four European matches at the national stadium this season, and lost last week's FA Cup semifinal to Chelsea.

Alli moved to White Hart Lane from MK Dons in February 2015 and has gone on win the PFA Young Player of the Year twice. In games against Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and, you guessed it, Spurs, they scored first but succumbed, throwing away a total of 11 points.

"You can not change the past, if they play before".

"It's a unusual feeling knowing that for the first time in over twenty years Spurs will finish above Arsenal - but it had to happen one day".

Ending the 22-year Arsenal reign on Sunday will coincide with finishing once and for all their top-four aspirations. After that, for pride and for the continuity of our achievement, we want to fight to be above Spurs.
