As the Federal Bureau of Investigation continues to search Hodgkinson's former home for clues, his former neighbor thinks back to their last encounter wandering if the shooting was just target practice or preparation.

Conservatives immediately seized on Hodgkinson's support for Sanders, with commentator Ann Coulter, a frequent voice on conservative cable news and talk radio, describing the gunman as "some nut Bernie Sanders supporter". According to the court clerk, the charges were dismissed in November of that year. Records indicate he has not been involved in any legal cases since 2011. He was squeezing off five or six shots at a time and, according to the report of the incident, fired about 50 shots in all.

She said she didn't know anything about his purchasing weapons.
