Hey Alexa - Give us Some Amazon Prime Day Tech Deals

To help find the deals, you can use Amazon's shopping app.

Those deals are only available to Prime members, but Consumer Reports says the case for the $99 annual membership is strong even if you're exclusively in it for the shipping value. Amazon Prime Day is officially scheduled to kick off tomorrow, July 11, but today Amazon announced that it will begin rolling out the deals tonight!

Amazon Prime Day sale is in its last few hours and there are products still up for grabs at considerably low prices.

Amazon products, like Echo Dot and Alexa, have some of the best price cuts, as do tech and electronics.

STEP ONE: Join Amazon Prime, if we haven't already. A Prime membership costs about $99 a year. Additionally, Amazon offers Prime free for a six-month period to students as well. Last year, a research firm found that Prime Day sales were 77 percent cheaper than those on Black Friday.

There will also be deals on Amazon's Prime Now platform, which offers same-day delivery in some cities.

Best Buy, for example, has a line up that includes a Dyson Vacuum for $199.00 - or $200 off - and deals on an iPad Pro 9.7-Inch, a 39-inch Insignia HDTV, and on Powerbeats3 Wireless Earbuds. "They're trying to get people to buy more of their daily staples from them", Lee said. But the company did say there will be some "amazing" deals on a "variety" of television brands - including the Amazon Fire TV edition of the ultra high-definition Element 4K TV.

Amazon Prime shoppers are gearing up for one of the site's biggest days of the year. So whether you're looking for a specific product or you just can't resist a good deal, it's time to prepare yourself for all the bargains that await you. Available for only $89.99, the combination of a speaker and AI assistant Alexa allows you to control smart appliances, make or take calls, listen to music, check the weather and latest sports scores, and get updated news reports.
