I don't think it's a stretch to believe that this season we will see Kara rise to new heights both as a hero and as a resident of the planet Earth. "So there's a lot of innate hostility that Mon-El and Kara have for each other simply due to their backgrounds, which is interesting because Kara's not exactly on her best behavior and we always think Kara is so interesting when she's flawed".

Hank hands over the kryptonite to Superman. After all, we know for a fact that Kara's mother isn't called Martha, and we're hoping M'gann's isn't either. Not only does Kara have to adjust to her misanthropic new boss, investigative journalist Snapper Carr (Cougar Town'sIan Gomez), she also has to say goodbye to her trusted mentor, Cat Grant. Corben is made out of the strongest metal known to man. Kara tells Alex about all the unrest in her life so far. After complaining to Cat a few times, she realizes that she needs to stand up for herself. Cat tells her to put on her big girl trousers and get the job back herself, then reveals that she is taking a leave of absence from the company. Kara says she doesn't like change and can't picture the company without Cat. The two of them then get the idea to team up. Kara and Clark exchange "I love yous" and it's super adorable.

Demonstrating impressive range, Hoechlin shows the three main parts of Superman fans know well. Metallo surprisingly gives himself up, but reveals there's a second threat.

A World Left Behind: Krypton (10:41) This special feature focuses on the visual concept behind the design of Krypton used in SUPERGIRL: SEASON ONE.

Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) blames Hank (David Harewood) because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. If the bullets don't work, right? Winn starts working on building a new suit for Superman and Supergirl that can help them in their next fight against Metallo.


The thing is though, it hasn't inherited its predecessor's price point, with the new Pixel sporting a decidedly more premium tag. I fired the phone up, and it walked me through the process of trying to move my contacts, calendars, email and messages.

This week we saw Frederick Schmidt reprise his role as John Corben, only this time with a major upgrade. Yes Alex is clearly jealous that Kara has been spending all of her free time with Clark, but she's also got a point that he wasn't as involved in Kara's life as he could've been until it became convenient for them to team-up as superheroes.

The Cadmus doctor decided it was time to move to phase two, and that required her colleague to be dragged off against his will and be transformed into Metallo 2.

Alex complains to Winn about her anger towards Kara, but Winn, as a former foster child, reminds Alex that she shouldn't act so entitled towards Kara. His character arc feels very much in flux right now as the show abruptly transitions away from his short-lived romance with Kara. Cadmus' leader is oddly mesmerizing and I'm sure I'd be following her if I had been subjected to her experiments. Alex is offered a job at Project Cadmus, but she declines, which then earns her a death sentence. Supergirl returns, only to find out that Alex set the mole up...only to get ambushed by Cadmus.

Back at the DEO, the team create a plan where they all work together, because the enemies won't expect them to have backup.

Mon-El (Chris Wood) has been shrouded in mystery for the first two episodes of the season, but now that he's awake, we should expect to find out more about him and what exactly he's doing on earth. They manage to take out the kryptonite from their chests.
