Renee Zellweger Exposes Colin Firth, Patrick Dempsey's Bromance In 'Bridget Jones's Baby'

Actress Renee Zellweger returns to the role of clumsy-but-lovable Bridget Jones in the new film "Bridget Jones's Diary", which revolves around Bridget being unsure who the father of her unborn child is.

"Bridget Jones's Baby", deftly written, generates a belly laugh a minute. I mean that frivolously, obviously. "It didn't feel necessary to me to speak about it until very recently and yeah, it did feel good".

Zellweger, who was cast as the titular charater in "Bridget Jones's Diary" back in 2001, said that Bridget maintains that wonderful awkwardness that has made her so appealing.

The "Bridget Jones" star was accompanied by her boyfriend, musician Doyle Bramhall II. But this time it's not Mariah Carey who will be accompanying Jones in her journey of self-deprecation - she switches the tune to House of Pain's "Jump Around" and decides to forget her woeful state of being and party like it's 1999. She resolved to get thin and achieve "inner poise", but never managed either. I love her vulnerability.

Her co-star Colin Firth, who plays smouldering but uptight human rights lawyer Mark Darcy, was even more enthusiastic - although another movie would see him dicing with death.

The American Patrick Dempsey is put in the chump role - his character is sensitive, thoughtful and an internet billionaire and thus no match for the stuck up, emotionally frigid Darcy. Still, Bridget proves capable of taking on motherhood while figuring out her romantic situation, not to mention dealing with the hipsters at her job trying to replace good journalism with cats that look like Hitler.

Chiefs fans seemed happy with the uniform selection. because there had been rumors that the Chiefs would be in all yellow. The white jerseys are supposedly accompanied by white trousers and a white helmet with traditional black tiger stripes.

"Because you don't know who the source is". Clearly, some things never get old. As it turns out, a fourth entry isn't a grim prospect - although maybe it'd be best to go "Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight" on her, checking in when things are interesting enough.

And therein lies the problem: Within a week or two of Bridget's encounter with Jack, she runs into her ex-love Mark at a wedding and is, er, swept off her feet again. "It's not just squeezing out another chapter", Firth said.

"I've seen Renee, we have kept in touch". And she's always very welcome. But more than that it was great to find her on such wonderful form, both as the person, she had that relentless cheerfulness and she seemed to be so game for everything.

Then I thought, 'Well, maybe there's something fun in that. A newspaper left on a church pew reveals that Hugh Grant's character has been discovered alive back in Africa. Yes, McDreamy, from "Grey's Anatomy".

Renee retreated from the spotlight, telling People: 'I can't remember if there was one defining moment.

"It was ideal timing because I think the people who know me from Grey's will be happy", Dempsey tells TimeOut. "Yeah they're big shoes, of course, absolutely, he's very amusing, and known for this too, so to step in, you kind of have to find your own way".
